Lamb Art Theatre hosts benefit performance for Support Siouxland Soldiers

Local News

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – Friday was opening night at the Lamb Art Theatre’s new comedy ‘Boeing Boeing’ and everyone who paid for a ticket to the show also did some good while getting in a few laughs.

The 7:30 performance on Friday night was a benefit performance for Support Siouxland Soldiers. One hundred percent of proceeds from Friday night’s ticket sales went to the nonprofit organization that serves hundreds of Siouxland Veterans and Military families.

“It’s just a way to give back to the community, it’s a way for us  to recognize that there are a lot of other non-profit organizations out there doing tremendous work. And to work with them, who knows what future projects we might work out together,” Russell Wooley with Lamb Arts Regional Theatre said.

Friday’s 7:30 show was the only benefit performance, but ‘Boeing Boeing’ will be showing at the Lamb Theatre through May 19th.
