SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Siouxland families are taking advantage of free admission to the LaunchPAD Children's Museum Thursday.
The free admission was thanks to Scheels.
Its the 3rd annual free event hosted by the sporting goods store.
Launchpad features regionally based exhibits focused on STEAM learning principles.
The museum provides interactive exhibits and programs that foster to a child's creativity.
Parents say this free event allows them to get out and enjoy a fun filled day without spending a penny, when otherwise they would stay home.
"For the Scheels free day. we've never been to the Sioux City Children's Museum, so its always a good way to check it out. Yeah, it's been really great. I have kids from six months to eight [years-old] so there's been enough for all of them to stay busy the whole time," said one mother, Melissa Michels.
If you haven't stopped out to the museum, it is open until 7:00 p.m. Thursday night.
