We’ve enjoyed a sunny and breezy afternoon across Siouxland. Temperatures have recovered into the 50s west of Sioux City and into the mid and upper 40s to the east. Expect clouds to be on the move tonight as lows drop back into the lower 30s with lighter winds.
A small disturbance will bring us clouds and a few rain shower chances by tomorrow evening. In fact, some of the rain may mix with snow during the overnight. The snow that falls should melt on Tuesday, but we wanted to put out that possibility as temperatures are on the border to support snow.
Temperatures should recover on Tuesday into the mid 50s, but another system will arrive quickly on Wednesday. Rain chances will be good and may continue into early Thurusday. This system should be last one of the week.
Looking ahead to next weekend, a good surge of mild air will move our direction from the southwest. There may be a few clouds and even a shower chance by Sunday, but overall, temperatures should be very mild in to the mid 60s to around 70. That sounds pretty nice!
