Iowa gubernatorial candidate Fred Hubbell made a stop in Siouxland as part of a campaign tour.
The democrat for governor started a 14 day, 35-stop tour of Iowa. The trip will take him right to the June 5th Primary election.
Friday’s event was at the new Woodbury County Democratic Party Headquarters along Gordon Drive.
Hubbell tells us he wants to make change for the better as Iowa’s next governor.
“Question were about education, about healthcare and how do you bring people together to get results. And that’s what I’m hearing all across Iowa, people want a Governor who’s got the experience to bring people together and get results and is committed to improvements to education and healthcare. I’m talking about it all the time and I’m hearing about it all the time.” says Democratic Candidate for Iowa Governor Fred Hubbell.
Hubbell will stay be back in Siouxland next week. May 27th he will be at 172 Casino Road in Storm Lake, then on May 31 the tour bus will be in Sioux City at the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters Training Hall at 2200 West 19th Street.
Hubbell and five other Democrats fight for the Governor’s Mansion. Other names on the June 5th ballot include: Andy McGuire, Ross Wilburn, Nate Bolton, John Norris and Cathy Glasson.
