Indian Hills water tower being drained

Local News

The city of Sioux City is warning residents of the Indian Hills area that their water tower will be out of service for a few days for maintenance.

Maintenance crews started working on draining the water from the tower earlier Monday, and because of that, citizens may notice discharge from fire hydrants near the intersection of Cheyenne Boulevard and Outer Drive.

The inspection should be complete and the water tower should be back in service by a week from Tuesday.

If you live in the area and notice water pressure problems, you can contact the water treatment plant
