Hundreds gather for Arozamena vigil

Many of those wrote messages to Arozamena's family in Spain

AMES, Iowa - A vigil brings hundreds of folks together at the Campanile on Iowa State University's campus Wednesday night.

A somber mood has blanketed the Ames campus since Monday when Cyclone golf star Celia Barquin 
Arozamena was found stabbed to death near campus.

Friends and fellow students gathered to remember their fellow classmate.  Many writing messages to Arozamen's family in Spain.

ISU fans are being asked to wear yellow to the Cyclones football game Saturday.  Friends say it was Celia's favorite color.

Meanwhile, a memorial fund also is being created.  On Twitter, the Iowa State women's golf team announcing that checks should be made payable to the "Remembering Celia Memorial Fund" and sent to First National Bank at 405 Fifth Street in Ames.

Proceeds will be directed to the Arozamena's family.
