A Sioux City organization is moving locations on from the north side of the city closer to downtown.
Hospice of Siouxland is moving their office in Sioux City next to Siouxland Center for Active Generations at 309 Cook Street in two weeks.
“Our new location will provide a wealth of benefits,” says Adam Cory, Marketing & Fund Development Manager. “We are hoping that a more centrally located site in Siouxland will help increase our visibility and awareness within the community. We want people to feel comfortable stopping in, saying hello and learning more about the wonderful work we do for the Siouxland community.”
The new facility will be 12,269 square feet and will house 100 employees.
Hospice of Siouxland officials said the new location will help internal communication between the different disciplines involved in Hospice and Palliative Care.
“The office at 4300 Hamilton has been blessed with many memories over the years for staff, family and friends.” said Cory. “It has served its purpose for our organization and we are very grateful for the years we have had there. At the same time, we are very excited to continue serving the community at 309 Cook St.”
Staff will begin moving into a newly renovated space on December 10. They will be finished by December 15.
