High School choir taking people to the Renaissance Era

Local News

The Sioux City East High School choir department is taking people back to the Renaissance Era.

They are putting on their annual Madrigal shows.

The nights include a five-course meal with entertainment by the East high choir department.
A silent auction during the night also is offered.

Shows are December 7 and 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Morningside Lutheran Church.

Tickets can be purchased here or by calling 712-274-4000

Funds from the madrigal will go back to the choir for musical items like sheet music, choral arrangements, new dresses, and others.

Denisse Camarena and Jacob Licht were in the KCAU 9 News Studio to talk more about the event.
