WINNEBAGO, Neb. (KCAU) – The Winnebago Public School said they fired an employee after they were accused of inappropriate contact.
They said they learned Friday of the accusations against the part-time staff member after students shared details with a staff member. The school then contacted Child Family Services, local law enforcement and the FBI.
The school also notified only the parents of students who reported contact. Other parents that feel their children may have been victimized are asked to contact their local law enforcement.
They suspect has been fired and is prohibited from the school or any school-related events.
Winnebago Public School said they are working to keep students focused while also providing support.
The school is working with the agencies investigating the case, and that any further information will come from the investigating agencies.
They do not specify the misconduct and have not identified the former employee.
