SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – It’s that time of the week! We’re talking weekend plans with our friend Tony Michaels of KSUX Radio, and it looks like we’re in for an eventful Mother’s Day weekend this year.

If you’re into good theatre, be sure to check out SCCT’s production of “Godspell” through Sunday, May 12th. Friday and Saturday’s performances begin at 7pm, while the final matinee performance begins at 2pm this coming Sunday.

Over at Anthem in downtown Sioux City, be sure to check out the featured band for Friday, May 10th starting at 8pm: The Struts. They’re known for opening for big acts such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Also, be sure to check out the Sioux City Farmers Market this Saturday from 8am-1pm. If you like spending time outdoors, you can also head on over to Leif Erickson Park to support a “Pizza for Police” event from 11am-3pm. For five dollars, you can buy a slice of pizza and a drink courtesy of Lotzza Motzza Pizza. All proceeds go towards a police fund.
