It’s been a while in the making, but Sioux City East High School’s Wall of Honor is finally complete Wednesday.
The Wall of Honor features the names of pictures of 76 East High grads who have lost their lives in war.
The names of these individuals span back to World War II and follow up through the Iraq War.
Principal Richard Todd of East High said, “These are the people that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and I believe we should memorialize them and honor them.”
The 76 students who appear on the wall will be honored at halftime of East High’s varsity boys basketball game against Bishop Heelan Thursday night.
