Dropping temperatures also means dropping tire pressure

Dropping temperatures also means dropping tire pressure.

Mechanics at Tires Tires Tires say to check your tire pressure frequently in the winter. If the light goes on, don’t ignore it. You’ll also want to check that your battery has enough juice, and give yourself extra time to warm up the car in the morning.

“It’s a good idea to allow your car some time to warm up, get your motor to operating temperature. It’s going to be best for engine-wear and your cars longevity” says Craig McReynolds, General Manager, Tires Tires Tires.

Although there is only light snow in the forecast this week…It’s always good to keep tire tread in mind this time of year. Whether they are snow tires, or all season, make sure you have enough grip to get through the snow.
