SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – New Jersey Senator and presidential candidate Cory Booker spoke with Siouxlanders Monday.

Booker held a town hall at the Sioux City Public Museum this evening talking about a variety of issues, including healthcare and immigration, both important topics for Siouxlanders and others around the nation.

This was his first time in Sioux City, so Siouxlanders got their first impressions.

“Very positive, he talked about bringing Republicans, Democrats and Independents together which I for one think is very important if we are to achieve goals and move forward as a nation,” says Mike Goodwin of Sioux City.

On Tuesday, the senator is making stops at an educational round table in Sergeant Bluff, a conversation in Carroll and Nevada Iowa. He will finish Tuesday night at a reception in Des Moines.
