SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – UPDATE: More is known about what happened during the early Friday morning fire.
According to a release from Sioux City Fire Rescue Fire Marshal Mark Aesoph, crews were called to a fire at Flatbed Services at 2260 Andrew Avenue Friday morning at 5:57 a.m. Sioux City Fire Rescue, the Sergeant Bluff Fire Department, and 185th were at the scene.
No one was inside at the time. The building and its contents had “considerable fire damage.”
Authorities said that an investigation is ongoing, and it may take several days to complete.

Crews were called early Friday morning to just south of the Sioux Gateway Airport at the block of 2200 on Andrew Avenue. As of 9 a.m., crews were still on scene.
