The Sioux City Public Museum and Iowa Public Television teamed up to give young children a fun day at the museum
The two brought Clifford to Siouxland.
The big red dog himself showed up at the museum to help read along to a few of his famous picture books.
There were plenty of kids in attendance at the event held in an effort to get those kids more interested in literature and getting up to play.
“Well, I think we all remember growing up during the summer, one of the funnest things was just getting up and going outside to play and going on your own adventures, making your own adventures, said IPTV’s Dan Wardell. “And that’s what IPTV is all about is giving them some inspiration and excitement and to get them out in the world having a great time”
Kids got the chance to take pictures with Clifford after the reading. This is the seventh year in a row IPTV and the Public Museum have hosted this event.
