Chilly but dry week ahead for Siouxland

Temperatures will remain below average through the week

NOVEMBER 4, 2017 - Get ready for a taste of winter Siouxland, because it is almost here.

This week we are expecting temperatures to stay below average for much of the week.

Tonight will be a similar night to last night, as we will have clouds covering us throughout, which helps keep temperatures up.  We are only expecting to get down to about 38 degrees.

As a cold front pushes through overnight the winds will shift from the south to the northwest, and they will begin increasing tomorrow.  This cold front may bring a sprinkle or two, but for the most part Siouxland should stay dry.

After the cold front leaves our area, tomorrow we are only expecting to jump up about 4 degrees as our high is set at 42 degrees.

The clouds will make a return for the beginning of the week, but come Wednesday, we will see a good portion of sunshine that will continue into the early weekend.

We are expecting to stay dry with the exception of a few sprinkles here and there, but temperatures will be stuck in the 30's and 40's all week.
