Students at the Career Academy had the chance to try their hand at entrepreneurship.

Students worked alongside Briar Cliff University students to draft presentations about their business idea for the ‘Innovation Grow Competition.’

And although the final version of their product isn’t due until the end of the week the students had the chance to practice their pitches today.

“This gives me a little bit of insight into the business world and it kinda prepares me for future opportunities,” said Yovani Topete.

The Briar Cliff students were there to give their critiques to the pitches and help improve the projects
