A man was arrested Friday night after leading an officer on a brief pursuit.
Dustin Alstadt, 43, of Yankton, South Dakota, was charged with driving during suspension and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and a McCook County, South Dakota felony warrant.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s said that he was arrested Friday night around 11:00 p.m. after a brief pursuit.
They said that he was driving a Ford Taurus east on Highway 275 before then turning onto 568th Avenue northeast of Stanton.
When he was taken into custody, they found that he had a suspended license.
Alstadt is to be seen in court next month.
