First year students at Briar Cliff spent the weekend getting to know their classmates with various actives, however Sunday’s was extra special.
Briar Cliff students are required to perform 80 hours of community service. Today they got a head start on those hours by packing backpacks for kids in need.
“Each backpack was filled with folders, pencils, crayons and a handwritten note by the student that packed it, with words of encouragement for the coming school year,” said Freshman, R.J. Haris.
