SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – Officials stated a body was found in the Big Sioux River on Saturday.

A fisherman spotted a body peeking out of the water in the Big Sioux River on Saturday just after 6 p.m. Sioux City Fire and Rescue responded to retrieve the body.

The body was taken to the morgue for identification.
