For the 33rd year, ABC9 is honoring local high school valedictorians.
Best of the Class was held Thursday at Morningside College.
It’s a chance for us to recognize local high school seniors from all three states, and let them spend a day enjoying the success they’ve earned.
Alexa De Ruiter from Boyden-Hull says, “You know, you put all that work in throughout the years and it’s great to be able to sit back and look at it and say, ‘this is what I’ve worked for and where I’m come [to] from all that work.'”
Claire Fanta, Creighton, Nebraska, says, “I’m really honored and it’s really great to share these people who share the same ideals as me.”
Mitchael Sieh, Stanton, NE says, “I know a few people here and there, but also you’re making lots of new friends.”
Tim and Jenna emceed the Best of the Class program again this year which included Morningside College’s incoming student body president and representatives from Woodhouse Auto and Famous Dave’s.
Best of the Class commercials will begin running in a couple weeks. You can see those throughout the summer on ABC9.
