MAY 30, 2018 - After a slight and brief cooldown, Siouxland has to get ready to sizzle in the 90s once again.
Tonight will be fairly comfortable, with clear skies and a low of 60.
Tomorrow, expect a high of 92 with bright sunshine.
Friday will be more of the same, but with a high of 94.
Late Friday evening, a line of strong and possibly severe thunderstorms will approach Siouxland and move through mainly in the early morning hours of Saturday. These storms will have the potential for damaging winds and heavy downpours. In fact, up to 0.5" of rain will be possible in the 12 hour window of 10 PM Friday to 10 AM Saturday. After the storms clear on Saturday morning, we are headed for a somewhat cooler and windy start to the weekend. Saturday's high will be 82.
Temperatures will warm a bit each day afterward, staying in the 80s Sunday through Tuesday and reaching 90 again by next Wednesday.
