Back here in Siouxland, 4th street is celebrating its 18th annual Awesome Biker Nights.
The opening ceremonies were last Thursday and part of a weekend that will include music from national and regional acts, stunt riders, bike raffles and more.
The event is completely volunteer-coordinated and all proceeds go to charity.
Event organizer Brian Hall said he continues to host this event for the good times.
“Its is, Its going pretty good. been nice hot weather but the water’s cold and the beer cold” “Poker run today was excellent, had a really go turn out and they’re starting to come down. I’m sure they went and cooled off a little bit before they get down here,” says Hall.
The entry fee to get into the event is 25 dollars.
ABN brought nearly 20,000 motorcyclists to Sioux City last year, and organizers are hoping to beat those numbers this year.
