Authorities looking for stolen shotgun in Clay County

Authorities in Clay County are asking for the public’s help to find a shotgun that had been stolen over a month ago. 

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office say that they received a report on June 4th of a stolen firearm.

They say that an old single shot 20 gauge shotgun was taken from a residence near Ruthven, Iowa. They say that six five-gallon cans of fuel was also taken. 

They think the theft may have happened in late May to Early June. 

Anyone with information of the regarding the incidents is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 712-262-3221.
