SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – A woman is awaiting her arraignment in connection with a July hit-and-run that left a South Sioux City woman dead.

Maria Gonzalez-Diego, 19, will have her first appearance in Dakota County District Court on Tuesday.

She’s accused of running over Antonia Lopez de Ramirez with her car and then leaving the scene.

Lopez de Ramirez later died from her injuries.

Gonzalez-Diego already pleaded guilty to OWI charges in Woodbury District Court back in October.
