A popular Siouxland amusement park got some much needed updates.

Arnolds Park has long been a favorite entertainment venue for many tourists of the Iowa Great Lakes for years.

And now their ‘Majestic Pavilion’ wedding venue has been restored to its former glory, including new flooring, and a larger-handicap accessible stage.

Another major update Arnolds Park competed was a new carousel. It features 30 animals and antique lights. The carousel is expected to become a very popular ride for the park.

“We are excited about the amazing progress that we have made this past year at Arnolds Park Amusement Park and as we embark on our Phase III of fundraising and breaking ground on a new Roof Garden, I have to say, the best is yet to come,” Jeff Vierkant, CEO of Arnolds Park Amusement Park, stated. “We plan to restore the Roof Garden back to its historical charm.   The new facility will maintain the classic look and feel of the original Roof Garden with updated amenities to make it a more functional year-round space.”  The new Roof Garden is expected to open its doors in the summer of 2019.
