Anthon man accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of guns and machinery

An Anthon man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he stole more than $17,000 worth of goods from two Woodbury County businesses in the past week. 

According to court documents, 30-year-old Brandon Mullicane stole several items from a gun store and another business in Anthon over the course of several days.

Authorities say that items connecting him to the two burglaries was found at his residence during the investigation. Police believe that Mullicane stole more than $10,000 worth of items from Titan Machinery as well as 9 guns valued at more than $7,000 from The Gun Shop in Anthon.

Police were able to recover 7 of the guns as well as several other items stolen in the two burglaries. 

Mullicane is currently charged with 1st Degree Theft, 2nd Degree Theft, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He’s being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $15,300 bond. He is due back in court on the theft charges on June 13th at 9:00 A.M.
