One of Sioux City’s oldest family owned businesses has been sold. 

KCAU 9 confirmed that Aalfs manufacturing company has been sold to a Mexico-based garment company. 

Aalfs is a more than a century old Siouxland business, and was established and headquartered in Sioux City in 1892.

The company also has facilities in Minneapolis, Dallas, as well as Mena, Arizona. 

According to the companies web site, Aalfs is one of the largest textile manufacturers in the western hemisphere.
