A Little More Snow Today

Local News

We’ll have a partly cloudy start to our Friday before cloud cover takes back over with snow chances for the afternoon and evening. Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected to occur south of Highway 20. Sioux City may receive a half inch to 1 inch of extra snow today. Northern communities will likely luck out with this snow disturbance receiving little/no accumulation. The high today will be a frigid 14°.

The snow will slide out this evening and it’ll be bitterly cold with a low of -1°. There will be mostly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with periods of sunshine, but still quite chilly with a high of just 15°.

Sunday should be nicer with sunny skies and a high temperature of 29°.

Next week will be pretty quiet with no significant snow chances inbound. Warmer, more pleasant temperatures will be with us for Valentine’s Day next Wednesday and again on Thursday. Temperatures will make it near 40°!

Have a good weekend.
