The 2019 Kids Count Data Books has ranked Iowa as the 3rd state in overall child well-being.
The study compares 16 factors in four separate areas to determine each state’s ranking. Iowa ranks in the top 10 in three of the four areas
- Education
- General health
- Family and community
Iowa was also ranked second in economic well-being.
