Mega Millions, money, cash

A ticket worth $1 million was bought in central Iowa.

The Iowa Lottery announced that someone bought the $1 million-winning ticket for Mega Millions from the Kum & Go in Colfax.

The ticket matched the first five numbers in Tuesday night’s Mega Million drawing but missed the Mega Ball.

With the winning numbers of 29-52-58-60-62 and Mega Ball 7, it is one of two in the country to win the $1 million prize.

The Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to climb to $68 million since no one matched all six numbers.

The Kum & Go that sold the ticket will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Iowa Lottery for selling the ticket.

The winner of the $1 million prize must claim the ticket at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive. If the winner or winners have questions, they can call the lottery at 515-725-7900.
