Fentanyl is now being called the most deadly drug in the country.
The synthetic opioid was linked to nearly 29-percent of all overdoses in 2016.
That’s according to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics.
Fentanyl replaces heroin as the drug most often found in overdose deaths.
