Ariel is a Sioux City native who grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 2014 she moved back home, where she completed her senior year at West High School. Upon graduation, Ariel decided she wanted to take a break from school and find what direction she wanted her life to take. “I remember my guidance counselor advising me that a very small percentage of young adults who decide to take a few years off actually go on to further their education. Leave it to me to beat the odds!” After 2 years, Ariel began her education at Briar Cliff University, where she studied Digital Communications with minors in Psychology and Photography.
Over the years at BCU, Ariel was active in the Cliff Singer’s choir, performed in a couple plays, and volunteered in the Spooky Haunted Tunnels. “Of course, being a reporter for Cliff Network was my favorite adventure. It led me to KCAU and I plan to bring Siouxland the best that I have to offer on this journey!”
