Anthony Mitchell joined KCAU 9 Sports at the station’s Sports Director in July 0f 2022. Originally from Utica, NY Anthony has been a huge sports fan his entire life. Also, he quickly became interested in sports journalism.
Anthony earned his Journalism and Mass Communication degree from St. Bonaventure University.
Anthony appeared in two NCAA Tournaments as the head team manager for the Bonnies Men’s Basketball team. Additionally, he had his own sports radio talk show for three years on WSBU 88.3 The Buzz and did work for multiple campus news outlets.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys hanging out with his friends and family as well as traveling.
Anthony is excited to be a part of the team and cannot wait to interact with the community while telling the stories of the people here in Siouxland.
