LINCOLN, Neb. - Two people were persons of interest in the disappearance and death of Neligh-native Sydney Loofe now face charges in the case.
Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, 24, have been charged with first-degree murder and improper disposal of human skeletal remains in the case of the death of Sydney Loofe.
The charges were filed in Saline County Courts.
Investigators previously labeled Trail and Boswell as persons of interest in the case.
Both pleaded guilty in May to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property.
Trail previously said that he was accountable for Loofe's death, but that Boswell had nothing to do with it.
They are set to appear in Saline County Court at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
