Third person arrested in connection to fake bills used at Hard Rock Casino

DCI investigation leads to third arrest for money forgery

Sioux City, Iowa - A third person has been arrested in connection to an Iowa DCI investigation into forged bills circulating the area. 

According to court documents, 26-year-old Kurt Jones of Le Mars has been charged in connection to an incident where fake $20 bills were used at the Hard Rock Casino back on August 5th. 

29-year-old Brittany Anne Derby and 27-year-old Jackelen Hartsock were arrested on Wednesday in connection to the incident

According to a press release from the Iowa DCI, the investigation to the forged money in ongoing. 

Jones has been charged with Forgery and 5th Degree Theft. He's currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $2300 bond. His next court date is scheduled for August 21st at 9:00 A.M.
