Funeral ceremonies for Sam Foltz held at a Catholic church in Grand Island

Nebraska - Nebraska is biding goodbye to a college football star who died in a car crash.

Funeral ceremonies for Sam Foltz were held at a Catholic church in Grand Island Saturday.
He played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and became the Big Ten Punter of the year last fall. He was killed in Wisconsin last weekend, along with his friend and former Michigan State player Mike Sadler.

Hundreds of people attended Saturday's service for Foltz, including his teammates and coaches.
22-year-old Foltz was expected to be among the nation's top punters this season.
