Musketeers plan for "Pink in the Rink" benefit

The October 21st game marks 10 years for the cancer benefit

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Sioux City Musketeers play their home opener this Saturday night in what is sure to be a big night for sure, but one week later on October 21st the team hosts it's annual Pink in the Rink night.

The game annually raises awareness and support for Siouxland men and women in their fight against breast cancer.

Joining me today are Musketeers President Rich Zaber and player Parker Ford to help set up the 10th Pink in the Rink event.

Pink in the Rink is scheduled for Saturday October 21st at the Tyson Events Center.  The puck drops at 7:05 pm against Des Moines but several activities are planned even before the hockey game begins.  Three dollars of every ticket purchased goes back to support cancer patients at the June E. Nylen Cancer Center and UnityPoint Health-St Luke's in Sioux City.
