Mills Fleet Farm coming to Sunnybrook Village

The retailer has 35 stores in four states

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -

The retailer Mills Fleet Farm is coming to Sioux City to open its first Siouxland location.

The regional retail chain that offers everything from housewares and clothing to farm supplies will anchor the new Sunnybrook Village.

Mills Farm Fleet plans to build a 320,000 square foot store near Sunnybrooke Drive and sergeant road.

The store will open in the fall of next year.

Mills Fleet Farm has 35 stores in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. The stores range in size from small hardware store formats to larger stores. According to a company guide, Mills Fllet Farm sells hunting and fishing equipment and licenses, small appliances, housewares, automotive goods, apparel, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, paint, pet supplies, sporting goods, tools, and farm supplies. Most locations also have a tire center, convenience store and car wash.

Texas-based Anthony Properties is overseeing the Sunnybrooke Village development.

At least three big-box tenants are expected to be part of the project when complete.

The development already includes a 225 unit apartment complex.  The Summit apartments started opening this spring.
