Coleridge, Cedar Co., Nebraska Hit by Slow-moving Tornado System

Near Coleridge, NE (ABC9 News) - Authorities in Cedar County are reporting major damage to several farms after tornadoes touched down near Coleridge and Laurel Monday evening.

At least six farms received damage, including one that was leveled. Power lines were also reported to be down Tuesday night and Highway 57 between Hartington and Coleridge has been closed. Law enforcement is blocking access into the town of Coleridge due to reports of several homes damaged inside the community. The roof of one home was blown off a home and several trees are down.
