APRIL 14, 2018 - With Saturday's blizzard in our rear-view mirror, we might be thinking and hoping that our weather will return to normal, which would mean highs near 60.
Unfortunately, it won't.
Sunday's high will be 31 with cloudy skies, gusty north winds to 35 miles per hour, and scattered flurries and light snow showers. Little to no additional accumulation is expected, however.
Sunday night: Look for a record low of 17,
Monday won't be much warmer at 36, but at least we'll have sunshine.
Monday night: 19, another record low.
Tuesday won't be bad at 44 with sun, but another weather system on Wednesday will bring rain, snow, wind, and a high of only 37. Light accumulation of snow is possible, especially north and east of Sioux City.
It's back to 40s for the rest of the week. Thursday looks sunny, but rain is possible Friday and Saturday.
Can we just fast-forward to May?
