SIOUX CITY, Iowa - With a snow emergency declaration, there are prohibitions on parking or leaving a vehicle unattended on an emergency snow route street.
They say a Sioux City code says that it is unlawful after two or more inches of snow to obstruct designated emergency snow routes.
The city reminds residents to park on the even side of the street on even days of the month after 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following day, and on the odd sides on odd days. They also ask residents to remove vehicles from street parking if possible.
With Saturday, April 14 being an even day, residents are asked to park on the even side of the street. Vehiclea will need to be moved to the odd side of the street Sunday at 7:00 a.m.
