Today we'll have partly cloudy skies and during the middle of the day, there's the possibility of some brief sprinkles or showers with a passing cold front. Accumulations will be next to nothing. The bigger issue will be the wind which will whip up to about 35 MPH from the NNW this afternoon following the front.
Wednesday brought the first day of uninterrupted warmth. The increase in temperatures went hand in hand with an increase of tractors out on the roads with farmers about 10 days behind in planting season. The seemingly endless winter months means now it's time to double down.
There is no shortage of food on a college campus. In fact, plenty often goes to waste. Now a Morningside group is working to make sure that doesn't happen.
